From Balayage, to ombre, to mermaid, to unicorn the gloves are off when it comes to dying your hair.  But what do all of these terms mean?

Balayage: French word meaning ‘to sweep’ or ‘to paint’, usually used to create a sun-kissed natural looking hair colour, and hide obvious regrowth. More recently the technique is being used to blend fashion (or bright) colours

Ombre: there are several techniques to achieve the Ombre look. From dip dye; just dying the ends of the hair, to sombre (subtle Ombre) where the colours used are very similar, Fiery fade, darker reds to the root and softer peaches at the ends.

Mermaid: a type of Ombre using multi-tonal blues, purples and greens

Unicorn: vertical streaks of bright or pastel fashion colours, to replicate a Unicorn’s rainbow mane.

However you use Colour Vibe this gentle conditioning shampoo toner allows you to lightly colour your hair as often as you like without damaging it. Colour Vibe lightly tones your hair in just 5 minutes. Leave on longer for a stronger tone. Washes out in up to 3 washes*

*Results may vary. Colour intensity and longevity will depend on the colour and condition of your hair before you apply Colour Vibe. The more damaged/treated the hair the more porous it becomes, meaning it will absorb more colour and retain the colour for longer.
